Chief Technology Officer

A leading UK financial services firm require a CTO to set and manage the overall IT direction of the Group in alignment with Business Operating Models. You will develop a clear set of application and infrastructure architectures, and ensure compliance of development activities whilst driving an agenda of business and technology simplification.
Reporting to the Director of Service Delivery you will be expected to direct, control and lead the strategy and planning for Service Delivery, defining its methodology and processes for group IT in line with group policy. You will help provide excellent technology that differentiates the bank in the eyes of its customers, people and investors.
As part of group IT and reporting to the Service Delivery Director you will be responsible for directing and controlling the infrastructure services platform assets, capabilities and skills in line with the demands of group IT business and technology, ensuring world class commercially viable service delivery.
The personal lines arm of a major insurer is undergoing ambitious plans for growth and investment in internet direct channels. You will have strong retail experience preferably within financial services and experience of managing teams of up to 60fte with an annual budget of in excess of £10 million.
A new role has been created as Director of Ecommerce and Common Services. This is a pivotal and challenging position with accountability for the delivery of all software development components required across a vast range of programmes. The post will have an overall annual portfolio of £170 million and the total team size is liekly to be in the range of 200-300 people.
Our client a major uk based bank seek a heavyweight Programme Manager to oversee the consolidation of a number of European data centres. Previous experience of large scale infrastructure programmes will be necessary.
